Dale mil spec resistors

I bought a bunch if these because they were cheap, never used them before.
Are there any advantage to these beyond the price?

People argue about resistors a lot. If you go to the Aiken Amps site, you'll see a lot of info on them. Some say carbon composition resistors--the cheapest, crappiest resistors--are best, because they add their own distortion. Others like metal film because they have less shot noise.
