Noob with a Tele

Hello to any readers, very very new to this so i'll just tell you my story so far in hope you can help! I bought a used '97 Squier Tele off ebay. It was all standard. I've sprayed it, bought matching parts but am struggling with the electronics.

i have the standard neck pickup, bought a lil' 59 for the bridge, and a five way switch. the reason behind the 5 way switch was just incase i wanted to put another pickup in the middle somewhere along the line.

But for now i'm just curious as to how i can set it up to maybe get a bit more out of my tele.

Any links to parts of this huge forum would be great, along with any advice etc.

Though if I were doing the middle diagram with your pups I would consider exchanging bridge and neck so that the bridge pickup was routed through the capacitor.. thoughts
