Need more female rock/rb/upbeat songs

Tough finding lists of good (known) rock female songs.

Our band shares female/male leads, but, hard coming up with decent
woman rock, I know they are out there.

We have basic (Benatar,Raitt,Merchant,Aretha,Tedeschi,Crow) stuff, but still
tough. I think Heart would be to tough. We usually have to transpose
everything down 1 full step.

Any ideas would be helpful.

Interesting...I also thought of "Since You've Been Gone" but it's an oldie from Cherie & Marie Curie. I loved this album when it came out...a guilty pleasure for a guy into Rush at the time.

Ana Popovic. Totally upbeat and danceable although she calls it Blues. Her first 9 cd's were great. Her latest is not to my taste. I think she's lost her edge because she's too happy now with a new son and all. There are not many bad songs in my Ana Popovic collection. Great guitar work. Dance to it.

It's not what you'd call 'rock' but how about Amy Macdonald? Very upbeat, catchy tunes, easy to cover and she has a huge following in Europe.

I will have to google her.

It does not have to be (rock, per se), just upbeat moving , non-slow..

In that case have a look on YouTube for mr rock and roll and this is the life. They're her two biggest singles.

It's not my type of music but I really like both her albums. She's the sole songwriter and main guitarist, considering she wrote the first album at 17 I think it's a great achievement. I love it when an independent songwriter makes it big without having the label dictate the songs, style and fashion.

Neither of these are, but the women doing them make them work--
