Just wondering if you guys could share what you think are CW's essential listening. I of course have Sweetheart Of The Rodeo ( been having it since I was a teenager ), some other Byrds ( Live @ Fillmore, @ Albert Hall, Ballad Of Easy Rider ), bought the Tuff & Stringy album on iTunes yesterday. What else ?

Paul Siebel's Jack-Knife Gypsy album
also Woodstock and Oranges (although Clarence is not on this one (but David Bromberg is).
He is one of the guitarist on the early Rita Coolidge LPs which are all good-she always uses good guitarist.

Well, no tele on it, but I don't think a discussion of Clarence can be had without Appalachian Swing

Any of the Clarence releases on Sierra Records... Muleskinner (both the studio and live show)... Find a copy of the White Brothers Live in Sweden from 73. It's an acoustic show but its great. Any and all of the Byrds stuff. I like his work on Johnny Darrells California Stop Over. It's all great to me! Plus all the stuff mentioned before.
