I've just bought this pedal and I'v read the instructions back to front on this but can't work out how to turn off the percussion. So I've decided to turn to the font of all knowledge and ask is there anyone out there that can help.
As I want this for solo acoustic purposes a full rock percussion in the background is'nt really suitable.

Thanks would appreciate any help

I think you can only turn down the volume (to zero) of the rhythm, not shut it off.

I just got one too. Instructions say on Page 17:

6. Rhythm Output Jack
Use this jack to isolate the Rhythm Output from the looped audio.
Plugging into this output will defeat the Rhythm guide track in the
left and right outputs (see page 49).

Whoops - mine is (and the instructions are from) the Jamman Stereo.

My book only talks about overdubbing on page 17 and it doesn't have a page 49 you may have a different book to me. Are you in Woodbury UK or is there one in the US? It might be the US instruction books have a slightly different layout.
I have a feeling that the rhythm tracks are on loops 1 - 9 because they are not there the further you go only the tempos and these can be turned down or off.

There are many Woodburys in the USA. I'm in NJ. I was saying above that the instructions I quoted were from the Stereo version. But look on page 30 of the Solo instructions - it looks like there's an off option for the rhythm sounds.

Sorry for the delay in replying - time difference between US and UK. I had just sent my last post when yours came through re the Stereo. I think I may have cracked this, it looks as though loop locations 1 - 10 are a preset factory setting which I can't find much use for. Once I get to loop location 11 everything is fine and it works really well. There doesn't appear to be any reference to the presets in the manual except when describing factory reset where it mentions the 10 original loops shipped with the pedal.

I've finally worked it out. For anyone else that buys this pedal and wants to get rid of the annoying factory preset loops this is how it's done!!

Press and hold the store button until you see EL on the display, release and press store again, you’ll see E?. Then press and hold store gain until the display shows DE.

It probably just me not being very technically minded but if any one else has this problem here's the answer
