Quality yet affordable left-handed guitars from off-the-beaten path makers?

Anyone willing to share obscure/unknown/underappreciated brands that make affordable lefties, especially guitars equipped with P90s or single coils? I'm fully converted away from humbuckers. And, "affordable" is defined as $500 or less according to my wallet. Here's a list of those I know of:

Agile
Raven West
AXL
Jay Turser
SX
Stagg

As a southpaw it's a real you-know-what to find guitars let alone find guitars that are worth their salt. I've had great luck with my MIM Fender Standard Telecaster for the last three years (especially since dropping in Bill Lawrence's Keystone pickup set), but I'm on the prowl for some new single coil or P90 sounds to add some new colors to my palette.

The major makers tend to limit their left-handed model selection, and companies like Rondo Music (SX and Agile series distributor) flood the market with axes that get good reviews eight out of 10 times. Unfortunately with my luck I'm usually one of the two guys that gets the lemon.

Learning about any new makers would be wicked cool. Thanks guys.

You could always take a look at the Vintage brand - they make some freakin' awesome guitars!

Have you checked out Southpaw Guitars in Houston? I grew up right down the street from them. Nice shop.

Well look's like you have the 'Rondo' thing covered. I do have both a A 3000 and TC630.Swapped out the pickup's in each. And have the tone I want from each and they play well. Was thinkin about tryin a Strat from them but they don't do any lefty with the better hardware. Really put's out at least a good effort to have some good lefty thing's with more finishes than most.

Er - Epiphone? Obscure in that lefty deliveries of anything vaguely new are like rocking horse doo-doo. However, there have been sightings of the NAMM 2012 crop launched in January. Could you live with a P90 SG or Les Paul? I have a 1981 Gibson Kalamazoo Les Paul Deluxe, and the 250 that I spent then would still buy me an Epi SG-400 Pro, which is what I did! I like it - the coil taps give voices that you can't get from standard Gibson Humbucking Fare, and you may not be held to ransom by the new tranche of Elitist Gibson Dealerships. Oh BTW I only bought the SG initially because my dealer STILL couldn't provide my promised Les Paul Custom Pro. You can't play a promise, so I guess that relegates Epiphone, and indeed Gibson, to the obscure manufacturers category.

Regards to all frustrated lefties.

Er - Epiphone? Anyone got an experience of Probucker 4 wire pickups?
