I've just finished building my pedal board and i'm after a little help on putting my pedals in the 'correct' order!!

My pedals are:

Channel selector switch for amp
Korg Pitchblack
Cry baby Wah
Marshall blusebreaker
Marshall Vibratrem
Marshall echohead
Behringer phaser
Danelectro fab chorus

I don't know what the best chain order would be, so I'd be very grateful for any advice!!

Thanks.....

Personally, I'd put the Echohead last, otherwise looks ok as is to me.

So, "channel switcher" for amp infers you have an amp with at least two channels: dirty and clean. If your amp has an effects loop, you're going to want to set things up like this, and you might need to pick up two more cables:

Guitar>Pitchblack>wah>Bluesbreaker>amp input

Effects loop SEND (aka Preamp Out on some amps)>Vibratrem>Echohead>Phaser>Chorus>Effects loop RETURN (aka Power Amp In on some amps)

The pedals in the effects loop can be in any order - it's entirely up to you. The reason you want to put these effects in the loop is especially for the delay pedal - distorted delays don't sound good. The modulation effects are more subject to your own ear, but they'll sound mucho crispo in the loop where your amp's distortion comes first, and you're not distorting chorus/tremolo/phaser (although phaser before distortion will get you a very Van Halen tone).

If you're going right into your amp, and don't use the channel switching (not likely, I'm assuming), then I agree with BluesHound, mostly. It really comes down to preference - do you want your delay trails to be modulated (might be kinda cool, with a trail of echoes being phased as the trails fade) or do you want your modulation to be echoed (i.e. a specific slice in time of swoosh/warble/wiggle being repeated by the delay pedal).
