Actually there may be more than Brad as it says "Joe Walsh & Friends" on the right. Either way, here's a preview for you.

Sara Evans, Kenny Chesney, Hunter Hayes (who is he ???), Luke Bryan (again, who ?)....and the REVEREND BILLY GIBBONS !!!!!!!!!!!

I just watched the Paisley/Walsh video...seems like Joe gave BP very little room to jam on that tune, then again, it wasn't a great selection for BP to cut loose. Thinking something uptempo, say "Life in the Fast Lane" who have been better (I know it's an Eagles song, not a Walsh solo tune).

Turn to Stone would have been an interesting selection for BP to play.

So did anyone actually catch the show? I ended up going surfing and then crashing/camping with some friends and completely missed it.

I did see one other preview of JW and Billy Gibbons playing "Life in the Fast Lane" that sounded great, but it seemed that JW wasn't giving the other a whole heck of a lot or room to play.

I watched it and immediately erased it from the DVR...boring as hell, imho. 3 country "hunks" who had zero to offer to a Joe Walsh tune. Brad's limited riffing on "Rocky Mountain Way" wasn't worth watching the other 50 minutes of the show...although seeing the lovely SARA EVANS did help salvage this episode.

Joe & Brad "Rocky Mt. Way"
Joe & County Guy #1 Hunter something - "In the City"
Joe & Chesney - some boring, slow strummy tune
Joe & Sara - "Best of Your Love"...you've heard better in most clubs
Joe & Country Guy # Blake Who's It..."Life's Been Good"...vocals were a trainwreck, Joe's guitar work was ok
Joe & Rev. Billy G - "Life In the Fast Lane" - a forced duet that didn't really go anywhere...this is the song Joe and Brad should have done...I can hear BP just running the fretboard on it.

My high water mark for the Crossroad Shows have been Brook & Dunn w/ ZZ Top, John Mayer & Keith Urban, Sara Evans & Maroon 5 and finally Sting & Vince Gill ...but I think there was a really great Dave Matthews & Emmylou Harris episode years back too (or was it a "Storytellers" ?)

Different strokes I guess. I enjoyed it! Joe can still hold a audience on his on.' In the City' with Hunter[ who I never heard of] was good. Joe & Billy doin anythin is gonna be cool and they should have had more time to expand but hey it's an hour show. All in all, not earth shatterin but worth the view time.
