I am getting ready to build a 6G2, and have been reviewing schematics, layouts, and photos.
One of the photos I found here shows an Astron cap can with 20uF/20uF/20uF even though the schematic says that they are 30uF.
So I am wondering if this was just a replacement, or an uncommon factory cap can, or maybe quite common.
So, if you have a 6G2 or a 6G2a, please take a look at your cap can, and let me know if it is three 20's or three 30's (or something else). Consider this a survey - the more responses I get, the better since the trend is really what I am looking for.
Please mention year, and color (black or brown) as this might be part of the story too.
Thanks,
Steve
