Staggered or non-Staggered polepieces for 15" radius neck?

Building my first strat and been wandering what sort of single coils should I use, Staggered or non-staggered? Heard lots of good things about the Wilkinson vintage voiced single coils which are staggered. Not much love for the looks of the non-staggered at my price range (30-40$). I got a 15" radius neck. Thanks.

The spacing at the bridge is quite a bit wider than the spacing at the nut, which translates into requiring a much larger radius. That means that a pickup, if it were to reflect a radius, wouldn't use one similar to the nut. If you have a wider spacing at the bridge than at the nut, and the nut is already has 15" radius, you're best off using flat poles and a decently-balanced string set. There are a few great non-staggered options at a moderate price.
