I'm toying with the idea of Esquiring my '95 partscaster. Worth the trouble sound-wise? Any additional parts besides a new pickguard? I play mostly blues, R&B, and classic rock if it makes a difference.
Thanks, Ric

I built a parts Esquire because I had the same questions. For me, the answer is that an Esquire makes me think more about the tone I'm going for. I can't just jump from the bridge pup to the neck pup. As a result, I get a lot more cool tones than I did before. Sort of addition through subtraction...
