any love for MIJ Vantage?

Well just goes to show that $60 can still buy a good sounding, great playing but somewhat homley guitar. Picked up an '82 Vantage Avenger 330 the other day.

I don't remember these back in my highschool days but with it's pointy stratish body and it's painted headstock, it just screams early 80's. The only downfall I can see is maybe the ceramic pups but for $60, it's kinda fun to leave it as is.

Anyone else have one of these beasts?

I miss mine terribly. I bought a VS600 new in 1985 ish, for $100, gave it to a friend in 88. Wish I had it back. Beautiful. Over $ 240 these days.
I would buy an Avenger for $60 in a heartbeat, was looming at one for double that on ebay. Good buy.
