Blush eraser caused runs. Help?

I tried blush eraser for the first time yesterday with great results, mostly. I sprayed it on too heavy along the edges and it ran onto the top creating a big run across the front of the guitar.
I'm using Stew Mac nitro rattle can over Duplicolor black acrylic lacquer. I've got 6 coats of clear before this mess.
Any advise on how to handle this? If it wasn't for the run it looks great and ready to wait on buffing.
I'm guessing I need to sand out the run and recoat. If so how long after the blush eraser should I wait to sand?
Also, I'm out of the Stew Mac nitro, can I use one of the sprays available at Lowe's or HD, or do I need to stick with the Stew Mac Colortone.
Thanks,
Kevin

Are they big runs?

Probably need to give it a few days to dry, and sand flush with some quality 400 or 600 grit paper. Then proceed with your spray schedule.

If you have enough clear on the body now, You can just wait till its dry, and wet sand/buff.

You can use a razor blade with tape on the ends, leaving the middle exposed, as a scraper to remove most of the run and then sand it smooth. I would wait at least 12 hours, preferably overnight cause the blush eraser takes alot longer to dry. No need to apply more clear. Spray another light coat of blush eraser to remove the sanding scratches and then buff.
