Anyone have experience with D. Allen Pups?

Hey guys, I checked out the link in their ad on this Forum. I like the demo of the Staggered Tiger set, because I like the Stratty tone you can get. I have several Strats, but I am more comfortable with the Tele. I have plenty of Teles that have hot pups, Humbuckers, etc., but I would love to have one that could sound like a quacky Strat in the "in between" settings.

Any advice would be welcome!

No experience with David's Tiger set, but I have a set of his Austin Blues pickups in my Strat and an off the menu set in my Tele consisting of a BluesCat singlecoil in the bridge and AlleyCats humbucker in the neck. I love both sets. Very responsive, nice sounding pickups.

And David's customer service is fantastic. He's a member here. So I would encourage you to email him. Tell him what kind of sound you're looking for, what kind of music you tend to play, etc. He knows his stuff, has great pickups, and is just a really nice guy to deal with.

I have a hot vintage pup in the bridge and a cheetah in the neck. Amazing pups imho and working with Dave is just the icing on the cake.

I have the Voodoo Blues HSS set and they are awesome! Great rich, warm tone and very quiet. David is a great guy to deal with and was willing to answer my endless questions. I'll definitely be purchasing from him again.

Can't go wrong with Dave....hell of a nice guy who takes time to answer whatever questions you may have, not sure how he finds the time. I have his 69 voodoos and hot vintage 54's in 2 strats. Can't rave enough about how happy I am with both sets. Not looking to do a review here, but what you may have heard is not just hype...his pickups deliver the goods.
