What kind of guitar is Don Rich playing here?unbridled June 13th, 2012, 07:54 PM Interesting Must have been in their post-Fender pre-Gibson days eOQh8haCQgc fezz parka June 13th, 2012, 08:59 PM Looks like a Micro Frets. unbridled June 13th, 2012, 10:58 PM I was thinkin some kind of Mosrite deal. WickedGTR June 14th, 2012, 12:19 AM I was thinkin some kind of Mosrite deal. I agree. Mosrite one off, or an oddball custom builder thing. DrumBob June 14th, 2012, 07:55 AM I think it's a prototype Mosrite. Buck's red, white and blue acoustic was a Mosrite. tele salivas June 15th, 2012, 12:31 PM I think it's a prototype Mosrite. Buck's red, white and blue acoustic was a Mosrite. Wow, I always wondered who originally made that one ! Thanks, DrumBob fezz parka June 15th, 2012, 01:00 PM Wish Eugene Moles was around, Dan. He'd know for sure. But, After looking at it more closely, the pickups look like those plastic covered ones that Moseley put on Dobros, and the beveling is classic Mosrite. The 4x2 headstock is weird though. DrumBob June 15th, 2012, 02:52 PM I bet Semie gave Don that guitar and told him to field test it and provide results. IPLAYLOUD June 21st, 2012, 01:59 AM As soon as I saw it, I thought of a Murph, especially in the peghead. VERY rare guitars. They were done by 1967. http://www.murphguitars.com/ Eugene Moles February 11th, 2013, 02:03 AM Sorry I got here to late. Video is not available now. |
