Spring Tension PG B bender

I am wondering if anybody knows a way to increase the spring tension on my parsons-green B bender. It is a little too sensitive on stage and sharps accidentally. Do they sell a stronger spring? Any input is appreciated.

Some say you can just cable tie some of the spring together. Some say clip the spring. Some say learn to play it the way it is... etc.
