Pick up recommendations for a parts caster

I have a warmoth tele body that is currently routed for a P90 bridge and a telecaster neck pickup. I know it isn't typical, and that's what I'm going for.

I have a TV Jones Classic Plus in a P90 mount for the bridge and I'm trying to figure out what to do in the neck. Any suggestions what might go well? Or should I route out the neck pickup too and put a real P90 or a TV Classic there too?

I'd route it.

Depends on what you are after for the neck pickup. There are some nice hot tele neck pickups like the Rio Muy Grande or the Harmonic Designs Vintage Plus that might match up really quite well with a P90 in the bridge. Or maybe somebody's cut down strat pickup designed for a tele neck position. These would be good if you want a cleaner but phat SRVish type neck tone.

If you want a big woman tone out of the neck, I'd route it and go with a P90 there. But it's all good.

I'm not putting a P90 in the bridge. I'm putting a TV Jones Classic Plus.

Rereading my original post I can see how it is confusing. The body has a soapbar route in Tue bridge and a tele neck pickup route. I was thinking it would be cool to keep it that way but wondered what neck pickup would go well with the Tv Classic Plus in the bridge.

It's hard for me as an old guy to keep up with the new pickups on the market. So this is like a Filtertron plus in a P-90 mount...

Ideally then, you could go with the same pickup (but not a plus) in the neck--but alternatively, something like a stratty sounding pickup, a Rio Tallboy tele neck pickup (which sounds like a strat pickup), or some other fairly bright tele neck pickup might be worth trying to avoid the cost of routing the neck and buying another TV Jones pickup...those are not cheap. Got any buds with a neck pickup or two you could borrow? Or get an Esquire guard and go with just the bridge pickup for a while (like a 1 pickup La Cabronita) and wait for the answer to come along...

I actually have a soapbar TV Classic neck pickup too, I just wasn't sure I wanted to route the body for the soapbar. I am thinking that might be the best way to go now though since I know the bridge and neck PU will play well together.

Rio Grande tele pups are awesome. I also love, LOVE my fender cs nocaster pups. But if it was me, I'd prolly route and throw a matching bucker in there.
