OR, just have two cool strats. I hear ya. I'd love to keep both. It's a question of logistics. Or, wife dodging as it were. Besides, I'm out of guitar hangers in my "allotted area". Lol. Matthias June 13th, 2012, 03:22 PM Yep, if you can afford it buy the second and mix and match. The MIM neck should be a hair narrower than the MIJ pocket, so should fit but prepare to shim it and possibly re-drill the screw holes. The best thing to do is to measure them. I wouldn't suggest dismantling the guitar on loan unless you're very happy doing such things :) If they fit and you can mix, match and reassemble them as much as you like. It's a Strat. They're like Lego (almost). |
