Hmmm... Tube Screamer clone?

Yep. Nail on the head. They actually are not bad.

I tried one out at GC last year, as well as the BBE Screamer were both on sale for the same $$($40 at the time). Thought they both sounded very similar, like a Tube Screamer!- great value if you don't have a TS type.

It does seem like a great deal, but with God as my witness I will restrain myself and NOT buy another distortion pedal today!!!!

I know me too. But the voices keep calling. Just one more and then you can stop. ;-)

I'm done getting OD's

Honestly, I have a bunch of great sounding OD's but the truth is, (it's more how my amps react to OD pedals, what they do when pushed by a pedal that creates the sound...) they all sound very similar and I'm just not gonna spend the $$ anymore!

Count your dirt pedals before you buy.

I have.... at least 10 off the top of my head.

There's my incentive to stop buying dirt pedals....

....for now.....

I've had this one on and off a few times over the years...it's really a great pedal...one of my favorite TS types. I'm tempted.

Ordered one. Can't resist cheap distortion pedals.

I'm in too....I just hope my Sparkle Drive, TK999, Paisley, Sweet Baby, Ultimate OD, and stock TS-9 aren't upset. My tone sucks when my pedals are angry.

I know it's cheap, but it's one thing to get this pedal IF you don't have a TS-type.

You have basically 2-3 (better "TS" type) pedals listed and the Delta OD will just duplicate- its a waste of $ for you- but it's your $!

Well, my TS-9 is about to go...you know, the 'true-bypass thing'...same w/ the TK999, both from 'before I picked up the guitar again'....but you're still right, redundant in sort of a repetitive way....

OK, you got me....the REAL reason I got one was none of my other pedals were exactly that color.

Hey, I couldn't be the only one spending money today. :)

So, the TO1 arrived yesterday. First impression? Hey, the green color isn't as bad as I thought! It's actually a light, bright green. My pedal board is now full of primary colors, and it's pretty silly looking really ... Montessori-like ... "Great music Mikey! Now show me what it sounds like when you press the green pedal?"

Seriously though, this pedal sounds all right. I typically run an FDII in FM/MOSFET mode, so that's pretty un-screamer-like tone range. The TO1 is very TS-like with a distinctive mid-hump. It's also very noisy. But it gets me into a tone-range that I'd like to have available "at a stomp", but only occasionally. So, I'm pleased.

To be clear though: There is no comparison to be made with the Full-Drive II, other than to say, "What you hear is the difference between high and low price points". It is very striking how incredibly good the FDII sounds beside the TO1.
