diagram for pearly gates and lap wrap for 72 custom

there is a white and a black wire coming off of the lap wrap. which one is the ground? and i am trying to figure where every thing goes but not too confident about it. it is the 72 custom telecaster, kinda like a les paul, with the pearly gate in the neck and the ssingle in the bridge. thanks guys. i have been to other sites but cant find a diagram for this configuration

with duncan pups, if it's 4 wire, red and white get joined and insulated, green and the bare shield wire get soldered to ground, and the black wire is hot. if there's a phasing issue with yer existing tele bridge pup, make the green wire hot and the black wire ground. hope this helps.
