I've been to St.John's....made it as far as George Street. Don't remember much after that.

Been to the Fat Cat blues bar on George Street. Xmas, 2004. Had a good time.

My parents retired to some ocean front property in Witless Bay, just south of of St. John's on the Avalon peninsula. Right at the inlet to the bay up on some small cliffs with amazing views of 'bergs that drift up in the springtime.

Visited a few times. It was really nice. Just far away from mainland and it's benefits.
