Is there a way to identify who made this body? It's obviously based on the Hohner that Prince uses. Nothing in the cavaties and it looks like a plywood pressed body with laminate top and bound sides.
Thanks

Hohner did make a tribute series I believe.

Would those have been pressed wood?

Possibly Im no expert on these but I think they were made in Korea and my Korean squirt I used to have had a ply body. By the way, don't let anyone tell you there's anything wrong with a ply body. They sound just fine!

I don't really mind the pressed body, I was just curious the manufacturer. It's a decent little guitar.

Hohner did make a tribute series I believe.

Wouldn't those have had the different wood running up the middle of the front and back? I guess it's an inlay.

Still a nice body. What year is that scan from? Sears catalog?
Pretty much same prices as Rondo today!

Sorry, I don`t know if this scan is from a sears catalog, I`ve found it at the internet when I`ve searched for a Cort guitar.
I own a Homepage about Hohner guitars and those Hohner guitars were made by Cort back in the 80`s and 90`s.
But its interessting that there is a cheap version of the Prince Tele and so I safed this scan:
