Hey there,
I finally got a Swamp Thang tremolo a couple of weeks ago, the older black version with a speed knob. The thing is, it sounds REALLY good, but it`s so damn noisy. Much more noise than any of my other pedals. When it`s bypassed it`s dead silent, so it`s only noisy when engaged. I`ve tried differenet batteries, different power supplies/adapters, different jacks, different rooms/houses/amps... So the problem is probably the pedal itself? Hard to explain the noise, it`s almost like the sound when you really crank an amps overdrive, but only a bit worse. ( white noise? )
Anyone else with this problem? I`ve already sold my empress, so I really need a working tremolo
Thanks,
Michael.
