Single coil bridge with Barden Gatton neck?

I want to try a traditional single coil in the bridge of a Tele with a Barden neck pickup and a Barden bridge & saddles. I was recently floored by another guitarist's Budz purebred bridge pickup, and wondered if anyone has had problems mixing more conventional bridge pickups with Barden neck pups?

I spoke with Don Mare on this very subject years ago. Contact him - I think he'd wind something to balance the output of the Barden in the neck.
