Hi, Tele player here,
I'm selling my Epiphone G400 SG for £210. Also, I'm only 16, and have just finished my GCSEs. I will be getting some cash from that, hopefully around £200. I've been looking at MIM Strats but I find the neck to be too slim, considering my Telecaster has the same slim neck and I want something fatter. Any Strats out there within budget with a fatter neck?
All help appreciated, thanks in advance!

Try the Jimmy Vaughn signature model.
The BIGGEST neck of all time (so far) that FMIC produced was on the first generation Jeff Beck signature model.
The original USA Robert Cray had a bat too - perhaps it carried over to the MIM.

Well the most important question here is, what are GCSE's?
Is just getting a bigger neck an option or do you want a whole new guitar? Having a Fender makes neck swapping about a billion times easier than other guitars. Neck size is so subjective that it shouldn't be too hard to find somebody who doesn't like their baseball bat neck and is getting rid of it, and re-selling your current neck is pretty easy. Or just hit up someplace like Warmoth for one of their big necks, although that can cost as much as a whole Squier if you get real fancy wood/inlays, etc. Again standard size though so no problem at all to resell later if you don't like it.

I assume you don't have GCSEs in the US then, my apologies. They're a series of exams for all people my age this summer. I see that I can't afford another neck though...

I own several Hot Rod 62 Strats which have a very chunky C profile that I love...it is one of the fattest neck profiles I have ever encountered on a Fender and is no doubt the fattest profile currently available from Fender.
