Hi folks,
in the mid-1950's I heard (a few times, via AFN Europe) a recording by Ernest Tubb and his Texas Troubadours.
From what I remember it dealt with the the country guitar styles of popular guitarrists like Merle Travis, Hank 'Sugarfoot' Garland, and others. Of each style a typical solo was played, emulating the particular style. In the end Ernest announced "...and here's the man who played 'em all: Billy Byrd!" - and Billy played one of his fantastic solos.
Can anyone of you remember the title of this recording???
Tks for any help,
Peter
