Questions on a New Strat Build [Archive]

Hey Guys,

After 10 Tele's, I figure it is time I build a Strat. I am putting together some ideas and would like to know if I am on the right track.

Because I have a lot of Tele's, I want to build a Strat that really takes advantage of the Trem. I want to use a Carl V set up and would like to give the Mag Lok a shot. I want to use locking tuners and an LSR nut.

I have used Callaham bridges on several of my Tele builds and I see they make a Strat trem made of CRS. Does anybody have experience with the Callahams?

Any opinions if I am on the right track?
