Well, this newcomer :shock: is really looking forward to be a part of/member of this Forum of great importance. I've finally taken the step from viewer/reader to participant.
Many years ago, in the early 60's I started out as a bass player, but for many reasons I wound up with a guitar only a few years later. Back then I couldn't afford a 'real' Fender (and there were no Squiers) so I bought my first Strat back in 1969 - a white beauty. A used, pre CBS, Fender Stratocaster.
To be honest - I owned my first Tele just a few years ago - don't ask me why 'cos I can't tell :confused: . However, things have changed - at last, somebody might think.
