I radius & then slot, but either way works. If you slot before you radius, you will have to go back & deepen the slots after you radius.

If you radius first, you can cut the slots so they're curved with the fretboard. Stewmac's saw has a depth stop to aid in this process, though you could make one for your saw too.

You can cut the slots to curve with the board if you radius second. You cut the slot just to depth all the way across the board, then radius, then clean up/cut to the proper depth.

I prefer to cut them before I radius because I cut my slots free-hand and having the nice crisp corners helps to get everything straight.

I have the stew Mac tablesaw blade and I was wondering if it's possible to radius the fingerboard and cut the slots using the table saw blade? Has anyone tried doing that?
