My 3-way switch is very scratchy even after spraying contact cleaner, when I switch positions, I can hear the crackle through my amp.
Which switch should I replace with? CRL or Oak Grigsby?
At the same time, I wanna upgrade my pots as well, other than CTS, who else is good? Thanks.

i put an oak grigsby in my tele because i wanted a 4 way and it doesnt crackle at all and feels like a nice piece of electronic. i can't speak much for other brands of switches or pots because i dont have the most experience, but i do know that cts, alpha, and bournes all make good electronics, with most people leaning towards cts

The CRL and Oak-Grigsby are both good switches. I've typically used the Oak-Grigsby's and I believe those are what Fender use in their MIA and MIM models as well.
Here's a link to a discussion on the differences and preferences of others as it relates to CTS vs Alpha pots.
