Digital pedals are hungry for power. Its been proven that digital pedals sound better when supplied more current (strymon, TC nova...)

So the new TC pedals are digital....any difference running them at higher currents?

BTW I have the Flashback

Hey,

Tore from TC here. The TonePrint pedals were designed to run at 9V but will also run just fine at 12V. There isn't going to be a difference in neither sound or headroom though. The same goes for the Nova Pedals... they will run at both 9V and 12V - the only difference will be the headroom inside the pedal. A Nova pedal will accept a louder signal running at 12V (+16dBu) than at 9V (+12dBu) before it starts clipping.

Cheers,
Tore
