Hi everyone, my name is Michael and I live in my car, but it stops frequently at the same place every night in Tennessee :smile:. I joined a month or two ago and read a lot of posts here to bolster my knowledge and my spirits as I went on a big telehunt. I finally got one, a 52 RI, and can't see how I've ever gotten by without it. It's a thing in itself, it snarls and snaps and sparkles and whines and roars and carries on all kind of ways.
OK, so I'm a little giddy with new-guitar glee. But still. It's really nice to find this site and finally get into the telecommunity. It doesn't rhyme with telecommute,though.
Seriously, thanks already to everybody whose many posts I have already learned a lot from. I also play a LP and some acoustic guitars, and this old Yamaha strattie-thing like Jerry Garcia played for a couple years in the eighties, I think. I think I'm in the market for amps and pedals right now to complement the telecaster, so I look forward to seeing what you all think there. Thanks for having me here...
