I just joined 'cos I want to build my own Tele.

My equipment list is in my profile.

Currently play the Mini Maton & the Line 6 Variax 600 the most.

The CW80 Maton is 36 years old & the neck has moved a bit so it has been tuned to open G for slide.

The Squire Strat has just had a new (better) bridge installed & will get a new nut & be loaded with flat wound strings & set up for slide also.

The USA Strat was bought 2nd hand & I am in the process of doing it up.

I hardly ever touch the Bass, I should sell it.

I have been using the Line 6 Variax & decided I like the '60s Tele sounds it produces so I want to have a go at building one.

Looking an an Ash Body & Maple Neck from Stewmac.
All gold fittings, no pick guard.

I'll most likely change the tone cap from .047 to .022

Hi Cliff welcome aboard!! I have a good mate and great muso at Kuranda. Name of Paul Van D S Works as a tech in CNS. Know him?

He was awarded the order ( or perhaps the punishment! ) of the Skelecaster! If you don't know him, you should get to. He is a great person!
