Good day all,

Today i got an Electro-Harmonix Neo mistress (looking for those Gilmour sounds). Because there's not a lot of reviews or info about it, i decided to just get one and see for myself.

The sounds are pretty decent, it does have a Gilmourish vibe to it as far as I can tell. Close to his The Wall-dark-warbly-sound. That having been said, I've never played through an original Electric Mistress or a Hartman Flanger, so I don't really have a reference. But at 1/4 - 1/2 the price, it's good enough for me :)

So, pretty useless review. But here's the thing. I opened the case to see what's inside and there are two connectors that look like you can plug something in them. One is six-pins, the other 4-pins. They are marked CN4 and CN3. Does anybody know what this might be? See pics below.

Oh, and they actually printed "I know kung fu" on the pcb! EHX; awesome company :)

As it is a digital device maybe that's the way you can exchange information with it. Just a guess.

They may be test points for calibrating the pedal at the factory. Or, they might use that same board for different pedals with more knobs/features.

Quick QC check and using the same board for other products seems resonable like Rich S says.
