Long while since I last posted an NPD. I haven't had one juuuuust yet, but it'll be sometime next week.
The incoming pedals are -
EHX black finger valve compressor
Black box Marshall drivemaster
Hopefully the next pedal I get will be a Wampler plexi drive. The white one.
Pictures and propaganda once they get here. Super keen on the Marshall. They were both real bargains.... I just couldn't help myself.
Hey is there a pub anywhere for people who buy stuff because they "just couldn't help themselves"?

Haha nice, I'll drink to that. How much you pay for these bad boys?

Nearly $150 for the DM with post etc, and the Black finger was $220 with post. No box with either though.

So far the drivemaster's doing 90% of what I was hoping it'd do. The mechanical bypass switch is a bit iffy at times so this will probably need replacing, unless it's being iffy due to lack of use.
The black finger is taking way too long to turn up.

Hate waiting for pedals to arrive by mail, most of my new pedal purchases are from amazon and usually take a week or more. When I buy from eBay it can take a month or more from the USA, I'm in Australia btw.
I'm using an mi audio crunch box for my all around dist needs, sometimes boosted with a crowther hot cake. Everything else from 3 different fuzz boxs :)

The black finger took blummin ages to turn up but it did arrive. Pretty neat pedal really.
Funnily enough I won't be using it as a pedal - I'm going to somehow find a way to mount it to my little FM25r for a bit of warmth.
I tried various ways of mounting it inside the amp's enclosure but it just wouldn't fit. I think it'll end up cable tied to the back somehow.
