Benedict Guitars

Does anyone know terribly much about the Benedict Guitar shop from Minneapolis? I live here in MN, and I happened to have a sub in my chemistry class today. Who was that sub? None other than Laurel Benedict, that's right, Roger Benedict's wife. She was an extremely nice lady, and we had a wonderful talk about guitars, sharing thoughts, ideas, etc. She gave me some info to look into about becoming a luthier actually. Unfortunately, she is no longer the owner of Benedict Guitar Company, having sold it to Roger's apprentice Bill Hager after his unfortunately premature passing. I have been doing some research on the company though, and wondered what anyone's input on the matter was. This is a company that has sold guitars to the likes of Prince (a custom Laurel talked through with me today) and Stevie Ray Vaughan! So, nothing to sneeze at.
Thoughts?

How bad (or good) can they be? They are bolt-on necks on F-style bodies. I've lived in the TC area for 35 years and have heard of them, never bad news. I guess it's like any boutique thing- if you aren't planning on ever selling and are happy, it's all good.
