How do I velcro my Cry Baby to Pedal board?

I have a Trailer Trash Pedal board and I dont know how to get it to go on my pedal board. The rubber feet have screws that dont go into the bottom all the way and if you take the screws out the plate comes off... any ideas?

Did you try unscrewing the screws and leaving the feet off when you screw it back in?

I am now just going through this same issue. Essentially, when removing the feet, the screws are too long. Inserting washers will make the velcro not touch the board. Try getting shorter screws.

Shorter screws. And tape the Velcro to your pedals using masking tape in order to prevent permanent velcro

Velcro-What a rip off!

I now keep my wah off to the side because I like to angle it a bit to make it more comfortable to play, but I used to velcro it to my board.

Very simple and it works - put a half-inch-square piece of velcro on each of the four rubber feet and attach it to your board like any other pedal. If you use heavy duty velcro, the pedal won't move with just that small amount of velcro.

Try it - you might like it.

I would try that but i lost 2 of my rubber feet..

I am actually thinking about not putting it on the board and just using it on the side when i need it, but I am ordering a Dunlop RotoVibe which is built exactly the same! So thats why i posted.

I definitely need shorter screws but the screw heads will still prevent the velcro from getting a deep hold. I really dont want to screw a hole in my new pedal board but im thinking about screwing two holes and ziptie-ing the SOB on there...:?:

Use a bike chain link or similar bracket under two or more of the feet to give you some holes that stick out past the perimeter of the pedal, and then put screws through those holes into the surface of the board. This is how I attach my pedals. No velcro mess, and the pedals will not disappear during the breaks. Plus, the sit very firmly, so they feel really solid when I step on them.

If you still want to use velcro, replace the feet with simple screws that will sit nearly flush with the bottom surface in order to hold the back on the pedal, then apply the velcro.

I built a replacement bottom for the pedal out of plastic I picked up at Home Depot... Just a small sheet of plexiglass and a minute and a half at the table saw. Flipped it over and marked the holes, drilled and screwed, stuck the velcro to the plastic, all good.

I hate having pedals outside my pedal board... 99% of the reason I have a pedal board is so I don't have to fiddle with patch cables and carry one more dang thing into a gig. I just recently switched over to a Pedal Train setup. I had a homemade board with a multi-level setup. I really liked that a lot, but the PT setup is growing on me. It's taking some getting used to when it comes to having the wah up so high, but I'm getting there slowly.

It was a joke...you know, you 'rip off' one strip of velcro from the other?

You can get shorter screws or you can get a pre-velcroed base plate like this (http://www.stompin-ground.com/products/sgwahplate.htm)

NYC Pedalboards makes custom velcro mounts.

You can go to Home Depot and buy a strip of aluminum edging and cut it to the width of the wah where the screws are located. Drill holes and insert the screws to hold the aluminum strips to the wah and then place strips of velcro or Dual Lock (my preference) onto the aluminum strips and mount to the board.

Try to find shorter screws, and/or layer the velcro on the bottom of your wah pedal. Usually 3 or 4 pieces stuck/glued to each other is enough to get it to stick to the board.

I cut a piece do Masonite with cut outs for the feet and velcroed that to the base then velcroed that to the board. Ive done it with other pedals too. Works great.

I put the velcro on the rubber feet as mentioned above. I just did this so it's too early to say if it'll work but so far so good.

It's stronger than it looks - just don't turn your board upside down!

I always wanted to take the top off of a chrome diamond tread truck tool box. Angle it down in the front and tig weld the pedals on. Probably would look like something Billy Gibbons would do.

Works a treat, I've got my whole board cable tied down like this, all stays where it should and no need to pull feet of the bottom of things or stick anything to a pedal that will be hard to get off again.

Can understand why you wouldn't want to turn an expensive board into swiss cheese, of course, but it is a solid solution that keep your pedals in place and intact.

+1 on the bicycle chain link thing. Some pedals only need two of those, on opposite corners.
