Entered my local charity shop today and this caught my eye cost me all of
$NZD 21.50 which is USD $16.30,
It's a Made in Japan 1980's Aria lw15 solid spruce top rosewood neck back n sides.
sounds great after a good clean and new strings, happy times.

Amazing deal - and a nice guitar too.

Great chair BTW.

nice rescue. that Aria deserved a better fate than to end up at a charity shop. i'm glad you came along to give such a nice guitar a good home.

Great find! I always look in charity shops for guitars but with no luck. Maybe one day...

Holy cow! I remember a buddy's brother had a MIJ Aria acoustic that was an absolute honey - one of the best sounding guitars I have ever heard. Try as I might, the brother wouldn't sell it to me even though he never played it and actually couldn't really play guitar at all. Enjoy!

The trick to charity shops is to do them daily if you have the opportunity of course as I supplement the wife's main wage with my finds, so I'm a wheeler and dealer as I ran an antique curio shop for some years, now I do it from home you get to know when they bring in the new stock from the back I actually do them twice daily most days. The only problem is when you find something like this you don't tend to let it go so this is sitting proudly with my aging fleet, but finds like this are rare and don't come along very often. My other great junk shop find was a Fender blues deluxe reissue amp and a USA made 1986 Fender Strat 1962 reissue in which I paid $300 for both came with original case and papers, cheers chaps.
