NPD! Line 6 DL-4

Purchased a DL-4 after wanting one for ages, as I needed a looper for a weekly acoustic gig. I couldn't be happier with the amount of sounds I can get, even though I don't see myself using some of the sounds.

Anyone have some settings they'd like to share?

Also, anyone have their DL-4 modded? Looking for a switch replacement, LED swap, double preset mod, and paint done by someone reputable and reasonably priced. Thanks!

I modded mine with new switches, LEDs and did an external double preset. I LOVE it now. 10x better.

That sounds just about right. The switches will need to go within a year, I think. Before they begin to wear too bad. I didn't know that I was so OCD about delay sounds until I had so many different sounds to chose from with the dl4! How funny. But now I feel like I almost need the double preset mod.

You can get the Keeley mod. He knows what to do with it. I think JHS has a mod for the DL4 aswell. Just look around, there's plenty of options. I was thinking of a DL4, but I just use an MXR CC and a Boss DD-3. They give me all the delay I need.

I put a stock DL4 on my board a few months ago and I love it! 3 presents are enough for me. I'm not using the looper at all, I just use the 3 presets during a gig. 1 preset for slapback, another for generic digital delay, and a 3rd for long deep delays. Love the DL4!
