I don't have a picture of my stratocaster but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night.

geezer at 72 years of age. The first is my HipShot equipped Schecter "Mercury" Strat at a gig in Portsmoth, Va., the second shot is outside a gig last summer with my Clapton Strat (with maple neck) and my standard, both with the Stones Lips decals. The third shot is with my hardtail HipShot equipped Strat backing up Ms. Leona Williams at a show here locally.........JH in Va.

I know we play unconventionally, but I didn't realize that "playing upside down" would be taken so literally.

There is a classic one of Bob Dylan playing a strat at the Newport folk festival...
that made all people ...squeemish...oh no...the sky is falling....lol

I lived directly across the road from that field for a year in the early 80s. Of all things, beautiful Sullivan County, New York.

I have the same model historic relic Strat as your's, Hwy1Strat.
I even put a tortoise shell guard on it.
Mine has Rio Grande Stelly, and Muy Grande pickups.
I'm not a "mint" pick guard fan.
Great guitar.

Indeed! That is not me, that is the late, great, Kurt Cobain who often played a strat, destroyed a strat, rebuilt a strat and always made them look cool.

This was shot by a friend a couple of years ago. The Strat is a 50th Anniversary American Deluxe that I had setup for a friend. When I returned it to him he asked me to play it at a gig so that he could hear it. I didn't expect to like the guitar with the noiseless pickups, but in fact, I LOVED IT!! This guitar has been haunting me for 2 years now. My own Strat sounds great (57/62s), but doesn't feel as good as that Sunburst unit. NICE NECK, NICE SOUND, NIIIICE GUITAR!!
