joaopazguitar May 27th, 2012, 05:56 PM This is one of those off-brands, or may even qualify "lower" than that since it is one of those guitars made under a seller's brand name.
Harley Benton is the brand of Thomann's house. I have nothing against it, mind you, actually I have a Harley Benton's 6-string bass that gives me great fun and costed around 170.
But if you check the pics and the 3D applet (http://www.thomann.de/pt/prod_zoom_AR_223985.html) , this looks kinda cool and may be a great basis for mods...
so what do you think, just by looking at it?
the neck looks nice, even with a very mild figure...
the bolt on plate is strange, is that a rubber plate below?
the bridge is ready for body through, but it is not a body through
I dig the finish too...
and the specs are clearly pushing the model upwards...
or not?

An SX FTL50 in Vintage White... Little over €100, but with expenses and taxes it will be around 135. Not from Rondo Music, though, since I'm in Europe, but from a neighbour Spain online shop.
It was at lunch time today and the wait is already killin' me

Sure!
The site is http://musicasa.es/ and then you have the SX guitars here http://www.tiendamusicasa.es/defaultsgx.asp?__sgx_contextKey=634738985647984974 1469368091_musicasa_X_812427277
The site is very basic, but so far the communications with them have been correct. I'm waiting for my pack to show up on DHL and then I'll let you know :) !

DivadYug June 13th, 2012, 12:38 AM You better playing with a 100 bucks guitar through a $1000 amp. than a $1000 guitar through a $100 amp.
If I keep this in mind, I understand why people buy ~150 bucks guitar. It's because they just bought a $1000 amp. and they have no money left...
Haha! As said "acalan", I could not build one for that price even with all needed tools. If you have a damn good amp, why not.
