Ibanez V5 humbucker and single coil pickups? [Archive]

I pulled a set of what i can tell are japaneese made V5 pickups out of a 1985 Ibanez DT250. I was wondering if these are worth my time to use in a guitar or if they even sound good? I also have some old Ibanez single coil pickups that came out of a old early 1980's japaneese made Ibanez Blazer strat that i was wondering if they would sound good with the V5's? Can anyone help me out there? Has anyone owned guitars with these pickups over the years or does now?
