NPD...and it's green!

First time to actually own a tubescreamer. I feel like a guy who's been living under a rock. I've owned quite a few overdrive pedals (Barber and Lovepedal to name a few) and I've tried a few TS pedals (Ibanez TS808, Maxon OD808, Hardwire CM2, Visual Sound Route 808) but I haven't really owned one. Anyways, here it is. It's a Maxon OD9 and I like how it does not have as much mid range honk as the OD808. It's a perfect pair for my Tele. Lastly, it sounds great for boosting my Blackstar amp. :mrgreen:

Congrats, New pedals are always fun. Nice Tele too.

That was my first TS type pedal too. I've tried some other versions like the Ibanez since then, but the Maxon is simply the best. Enjoy!

I can't say enough good things about the OD-9.

I'll never need/want another TS style pedal again.

The Maxon is true bypass. I have one. I thing it's a bit rounder and warmer than a TS9.
