I don't know much about GRETSCH , but its older than i am :razz: Does this look like it would be worth checkin out? looks to be about two hours from me.

It's pretty beat and needs a ton of work. Did you notice that the headstock veneer is broken off in one spot. I'd pass at that price.

Yeah i noticed that :neutral:, who knows what else is wrong. It just ust looked like it might be a nice sounding guitar fixed up. I had a old 1961 Harmony with a single neck pickup a while back that sounded pretty sweet. Thanks

Allthesound, probably a nice project for the right price.A lot of work there.My son and myself lived up that way for many years.Just today he said to me ,do you remember Bankos house of music? I 'm 59 years old by the way.So I said ,hell yeah I do.I fact I used to love checking out the old stuff there.Then I said to him, how about Goldie libro's (downtown New haven) I think they closed many ,many years ago.I think he was just a child then.I liked Bankos much better. Have you ever been to either?

It is a low end student model, I believe and pretty beat up. I would not pay $500 for it, myself.
