Hi, new guy caught Tele building bug.. :)

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking forward to my building my first Tele. Started collecting some parts... Quebec barn pine body, and an Area Hot T pickup, lightly used... My first guitar build, but there's so much wisdom and info here, I think I'll be okay. :)

I think I'll actually start with an Esquire, I'd like to mess around with some different tone switching options.

Was thinking of a danish oil finish? I'd like to keep it simple and I don't mind putting in the time sanding.

I'll definitely put some pics up. I have some sanding to do before finishing. Thinking I should use some wood conditioner before the danish oil so the end grain doesn't get too dark.... I need to do more research... :)
