Hi All,
quick question:
I now have well used Ernie Ball Power Slinkys on my MIM Strat (11-48) and had it "set up" when I had VN pickups installed. I like all that but I want to put on a set of Fender "Pure Nickel 150Rs (.10-46)--I found them in my drawer. Do I need to have my guitar set up again? I figure if I don't like the Pure Nickels I can switch back.
Thanks for any input.

I doubt you'll need a truss rod adjustment. But, if you float your tremolo, I bet you'll need to play with the springs' tension to get your string height/action back where you liked it.

I've generally found Fender strings to be much higher tension than Ernie Balls, so you r set-up shouldn't change too much. I have also found that, using a micrometer, Fender strings vary more from the spec gauges than any other brand I've checked, for whatever that's worth...
