Big fan but never had the chance to see them until now. Drove 250 miles from OKC down to Dallas HOB to see the show. My expectations were high and the band blew them away. I had downloaded their set list from a show a week ago and thought the middle might have slowed down a bit too much. Well, they changed the set list the night I saw them and for the better. Highlights: " I'm Free " off their new album " This Machine " and playing a request for " White Gold " off their " Black Album " to close the show. You could tell the band was in a great mood and feeling the energy from the crowd. HOB is a really good small venue. Get the reserved seats up in the balcony. We only paid $ 22.00 a piece and we were right on the railing with great view and acoustics. Band used AC30's ( one for the rhythm and two for lead ) exclusively the entire show. Lead singer / rhythm player Courtney Taylor - Taylor played two Fender Coronado 2's ( hard tail and trem bar version ) the entire show. This guy is a monster rhythm player. Lead player Peter Holmstrom played a thinline Tele, Tele Custom, Gretsch White Falcon, some oddball Strat knock - off and a Bigsby equipped SG during the show.
