Congrats, no pedals needed for an acoustic, maybe a tuner.

Some people use pedals in their acoustic rigs. Popular ones include:
tuner
compressor
chorus
delay
reverb
looper
heavy modulation effects (e.g. flanger) are not as popular. Distortion boxes are not so popular either. There are multi-fx units for acoustic (from ZOOM, BOSS and others). Fishman makes a line of (expensive) pedals for the acoustic market.

If you want to use a lot of effects you should fill the sound hole with newspaper or something. Helps with all the echo feedback.

Okay, so what did you get?? As for pedals I use acoustic a lot and in order I use an EQ, a Comp, a delay and a pinch of reverb, a tuner is a given in any situation.
edit : I would also for playing live get one of the rubber feedback buster plugs
