I ordered this about a month ago. I just got it Fri. and got it in my guitar this past Sun. I'm really digging this pup. I've been thinking about gettin' one for awhile now and I can't believe I waited this long to move on it. All 3 positions are noticeable different. Not by a great amt. but definately noticeable. All very useable too. They sound great clean, with the amp cranked and also with pedals. Changing switch positions and right hand attack really make this a versatile pup. Of course build quality and all that is what you expect with a Don Mare product. Turnaround time was pretty quick, a few days faster than stated actually, and Don answered all my emails in a timely manner. This is my 4th pup fm Don, all Tele variations, I've never gotten a Strat pup fm him, yet. That may change soon. I'm a very satisfied customer!

Great ! I've been looking at that pickup for a while. Let me ask you a question: what type of music do you play ? I would put that pickup in my Esquire obviously, and that guitar is pretty much geared towards clean Country twang exclusively. What are your impressions, if you have any, on this pickup being used in a traditional Country setting ?

This pup would be great in a country setting IMO. this is defintaley not high gain or anything. I think the taps were 5.4k, 6.6k and 7.8k. They have an amazing clean sound, even the 7.8K. Depending on how the amp is set up and your right hand attack you can go fm clean to havin' the pickup sit up and bark at you. Very versatile. I'm playin' mostly blues and blues based rock & roll. Some country but old school country. This pup will do Don Rich easily.
