Do you still have the GA-5 kits for 100? After repairing a 50's era amp for someone I've decided I'd like one for myself but I don't really want to pay ebay prices for a haggard one.

So I got a 5f1 kit (very nice kit) from you for a winter project; anyway I got a wild idea that perhaps it could be transformed into a 5c2 build just cause l love the octal vibe and figured something a bit different. Or should I just go with the 5f1 as my first build. Thanks

You need a 1 1/16 inch chassis punch, a center punch and a drill press for the octal preamp, an octal tube socket and an array of different value resistors. You won't have a tone control, but that is not necessary.

Not any more complicated to do than a 5F1. Send me an email for details if you want to proceed.
